Brand LA and LMU's Center for International Business Education are poised to deliver a timely global Marketing webinar to discuss how the growing number of media outlets and micro-influencers are impacting customer behavior and strategic brand agility.

Celine Chai ‘20, NinetyEight


Celine Chai is the Co-Founder/CEO of NinetyEight. Originally from Malaysia, she considers herself a third culture kid and has lived in China, Indonesia and Los Angeles. In 2020, Celine graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a dual degree in Marketing & Dance. At NinetyEight, Celine leads all operational efforts - including being the team mom! On the client side, Celine specializes in account/project management, research & insights and influencer marketing. Her work with NinetyEight has been recognized by publications including CampaignUS, Fortune, and BBC. NinetyEight is a future-focused global creative agency that creates collaborative relationships between Gen Zs and brands.


Gia Lee ’20, NinetyEight


Gia is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at NinetyEight. Originally from Manila, Philippines, she moved to LA to attend Loyola Marymount University where she graduated with a BBA in Marketing. At NinetyEight, Gia leads the new business department spearheading all client acquisition efforts and has landed multiple clients such as Paul Frank and Fabletics. Client-side, she wears a multitude of hats as an account manager, strategist, influencer manager, and TikTok creator. Gia has led the influencer marketing campaigns for IMVU which won a Web Excellence award and has been featured at publications like SMDP and CampaignUS.


Bryant Lin ‘20, NinetyEight


Bryant is Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at NinetyEight. A Loyola Marymount M-School Graduate alongside Gia & Celine, Bryant draws from his marketing and design background to develop creative solutions every day. As CMO, Bryant leads the communications for NinetyEight—with touch-points ranging from social media to web to PR. For clients, Bryant serves as a creative director and strategist, helping brands develop their own unique voice online.


Ivy Arias, Brand LA


Ivy is the Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Brand LA — a remote-first nonprofit agency facilitating strategic and tactical Marketing solutions, industry research, and consulting services to advance regional economic growth, foreign direct investment, and U.S. global competitiveness. Ivy is responsible for developing Brand LA’s glocal collaboration framework, programs, and initiatives. In her role, she helps create communication channels that can elevate underrepresented leaders, support community-based organizations, and educational institutions. Brand LA also extends knowledge and resources to local small businesses and foreign companies seeking growth and expansion opportunities in the U.S. Most recently and prior to founding Brand LA, Ivy served as Head of Integrated Marketing for the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC).


• Todd Terrazas, AI LA


As an innovator in the information technology and education space, Todd focuses on creating a robust ecosystem of resources and collaborative partnerships that can enhance the region’s AI literacy and advance workforce development opportunities. He started his career at USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he identified the trend of attention-spans shrinking before photo and video sharing apps were even in the market. Shortly after graduating, he embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by founding tech startup, Brainitch; looking to automate the relationship between people in distress and emergency response systems, with potential applications in smart cities. The tech venture later pivoted into developing chatbots for customer service, marketing, and consumer market research automation. Todd created the first chatbot meetup group in LA before it evolved into the AI LA social enterprise. AI LA’s mission is to catalyze innovation through education, conversation and collaboration.


• Richard Prenderville, Cannondale


Richard is a dynamic and proven digital leader with broad international business experience at global Fortune 500 brands. His particular areas of expertise are in e-commerce, Responsive UI/UX, change management, and global brand marketing. Rich is currently CMO at Cannondale, one of the world’s leading bicycle manufacturers, with past marketing and branding leadership positions at adidas and Reebok, among others. He has lived and worked in both the U.S. and in Europe with extensive exposure to Asian markets. Cannondale is one of the world's leading innovators of game-changing technologies and producers of human- and electric-powered performance bicycles
